A series of figurative oil paintings where nude women are painted onto the surface of stretched clothing prepared as though it were canvas.

Figures on Clothes was one of my first series of paintings begun in 2003. I painted relationship ideas between clothing and the human form. The mixed media oil paintings are an exploration between subject matter and material.

Figures on Clothes is series of mixed media works where the materials are incorporated into the subject matter. From life drawings and references, I painted nude women on the surface of stretched clothing that was prepared as though it were canvas.

The oil paintings were first shown at Stockton University Art Gallery on May 2-4, 2004 in the Senior Project Exhibition/Painting and Photography show.
